Dance Floor Sizing
How much dance floor will you need? Well, it depends, but here’s a good place to start.
About 1 in 3 guests at an event will dance, and you’ll need 10 dance floor panels for every 15 dancers. The table below uses these ratios.
Please note that how much dance floor you need per person depends on the type of dancing you or your guests will be doing. The ratios and table presented here work best for slower, more compact dances at weddings and the like. If you’re planning on swing, polkas, waltzes, etc., please don’t expect to be able to fit the number of dancers in the table.
